Achieving Your Dreams & Goals

We have to make it through the hard times of our pasts to achieve our dreams and goals. As much as we may not believe it, life only serves us what we can handle. You may think that it is more than you handle at the time, but we always make it through, don't we?!? The hand you are dealt, the plate you are served, really is nothing more than you can handle. It is always an obstacle to achieving your dreams and goals, but something you must do in order to get to the end goal.

I know for a fact how hard life can be. I've been dealt some pretty yucky hands in my time and I haven't been here all that long. But I also know that each one of those hands had a lesson that I needed to learn. Some of those hands I've been dealt more than once because I didn't learn the lesson properly the first time around. But once I realized the lesson to be learned, you can bet I learned it, applied it to the situation and did my best to move on. And the more lessons you learn, the better the future you are providing for yourself, your family and those around you is that much better.

Sometimes the lessons are cut and dry, others you have to continue to struggle before you find out what the lesson really is. I know for me, there are some lessons that it took me a while to learn, like learning how to trust the right person. I'm a very caring person and have a hard not helping someone out. But in my efforts to help others, I've been taught lessons in the process, mainly that these people are only using me. And for me, this has always been a hard lesson to learn. Some people I have a very hard time trusting because I know right from the beginning I'm being used. Other people I can't tell, until the person is basically done with me and just disappears from my life when I was counting on that person to be there. But these lessons are all a part of the learning process to help us become who we need to be to really achieve our dreams and goals.

This song I heard while questioning my path one day. It just confirmed that I'm in the right place at the right time. We all always are in the right place at the right time. Have you ever questioned why you got all the green lights one day while going to work, then the next day you got all the red lights?!? Yes it could be an issue of your timing, but it is also divine timing saving you from something, possibly an accident or trying to teach you patience. Patience is the biggest lesson we all struggle with. We live in a world of instant gratification and not having something we want right now just makes us even more impatient. So the universe works harder day in and day out to teach us the lesson of patience. Then when we finally learn that lesson, we open up our flow to open more and more doors for us. And in order to achieve our dreams and goals, we must learn the valuable lesson of patience. Nothing worth having comes easily. And the same goes for our dreams. We can continue to dream and make the dream bigger and bigger each day. Add more details, and none of that is going to appear overnight. So we need the valuable lesson of patience even more.

Now that you've figured out the hand you've been dealt, learned the lessons that needed to be learned, especially patience, it's time to really go for those dreams and goals! The only thing standing in your way now is YOU. Use your obstacles as stepping stones to get to the next one and pretty soon, you'll be achieving your dreams and goals even faster than you believe is possible!! This is the path I am on and it's pretty darn amazing!! There are days that I never thought I'd be here, but I'm here and I'm loving it and I love life!! So get out there and live it! Live the best life possible and achieve your dreams and goals as the best person you can be.

Daily Affirmation Challenge, Day 4

Continue using the same affirmation you started with on day 1.  Remember, it can be your own or the one I'm using.

Affirmation: I love myself unconditionally. I love my body and all of its flaws. I am unique and perfect just the way I am. Love comes to me naturally and I know just how to share my love with those who I come into contact with.

Step 1: Stand or sit in front of the mirror. Chant OM 21 times to help clear your mind and raise your personal vibration. Then say the affirmation out loud 21 times to yourself in the mirror.

Step 2: In your notebook or journal, write Day 4 as the heading, then write your affirmation 21 times.

Step 3: Spend a few minutes in quiet meditation. This can be anywhere from 2-30 minutes, just spend some quiet time alone and enjoy the peace and serenity that washes over you at this time.

Go about the rest of your day. If any negative thoughts come up about your affirmation, stop, acknowledge those feelings and then just let them go. If you need to, repeat your affirmation to yourself a few times to help release the negativity you may have.

Here are the other days in the challenge. You can start with Day 1 any day and just follow along with the rest of the days in order.

Who Do YOU Want Others to See YOU As?

When you wake up each morning, who do you see yourself as? Who do you want others to see YOU as? What do you want to be known as when you are no longer on the Earth plane?

If you create a positive start to each day when you first wake up each morning, that will make your day go that much better. Have you ever noticed, the days you wake up grumpy, achy, "on the wrong side of the bed", nothing ever seems to go right that day? If you haven't, try it and let me know how your day goes. Pick one or the other, a positive wake up or a grumpy wake up.

It's actually really that simple. Create a morning ritual. No matter how you actually feel when you wake up, start your day with thanking God, the universe, whatever your choice is, for giving you another day and that you are grateful that your dreams are coming true. Just doing this each day will help you change the mood you already had. You are now feeling grateful for what you have in your life and what you are receiving. You can then journal your personal affirmations that you want want to affirm for the day. They can be anything from how you feel about yourself to the day is going to perfect to you are grateful for your job. Positive affirmations and being grateful will really set the tone for a great day. You can also listen to some great music that will just make you dance while you start preparing for your day.

The way you go about your day is also how others see you. You may be seeing a stranger on the street, a clerk in the store you are buying your groceries in, or even a coworker. But if you have a negative attitude towards your day, this is how these people will perceive you as a person. Change your negative to a positive and see how that changes how people react to you.

Let me know how this works for you! I love hearing these stories! Follow me on Twitter and Pinterest

Trust.Believe.HaveFaith.

This is my new motto. I'm living by this motto from now on. I trust, believe and have faith. Everything is working the exact way that it should be working out. My dreams and wishes are coming true each and every day. I'm maintaining a high vibration and I love being up here on a high vibration. I am much happier and healthier each and every day of my life.

I'm a very firm believer in the vision board. I have created mine and it is up on my wall so that I can see it on a daily basis. Just looking at my vision board each day helps me to reinforce my belief that everything is happening in my life just as it should. I am right where I need to be.

I am also a very firm believer in daily affirmations. I say them to myself each day, all day long. I write them in my journal. I share some of them here for my wonderful followers. I share them on my Facebook page everyone in a while too. As long as the affirmations are completely positive and you really do believe them, they work. Trust.Believe.HaveFaith. It works! Trust me!

And the other thing I am a very strong believer in, is positivity. The more your thoughts are positive, the better things will be in your life. Let go of any negativity in your life, whether this be people, places, events, etc., whether you just release this, find a new job, move to a new home or whatever it is you need to do, it will come to you what you need to do.

Each of us needs to get to a place where you absolutely love your life every single day. Once you get there, more and more things will happen for you. Then, you are at the point where you have to trust, believe and have faith. The Universe wants the best for you and so do I.

So tell me, do you love your life and where you are right now? If not, what do you need to change? Do you have faith? Do you trust, in both yourself and the Universe? Do you believe, in yourself and the Universe?
