2 of 40 Days of Venus Self Renewal
The shedding. Write down 10 or more
things you would like to shed during this journey. Keep the focus on
you. For example, rather than listing external things, see how you can
bring it back to the goings-on in your inner world. For example if a
job, situation or another is triggering something within you, what
emotion is coming up for you? What are you feeling here? Owning the
emotion enables you to ride it to the shore. For now, allow yourself to
make the list sans self judgment, and without trying to change any of
it. Simply create the space for it to be heard. Observe what wants to
rise to the surface for transformation. Consider old modes of being, out
grown patterns, belittling self-talk, actions than shun your true self,
life-diminishing choices and commitments, worn out behavior, limiting
beliefs and fears you might be (or have been) holding.
