Recently, I have decided that I need to redo my vision board. I am going to make them into three separate boards - one for professional, one for personal, and one for my "I AM"s. I'm the type of person that is super organized and I'm not a fan of chaos. Well, I feel my current vision board is quite chaotic. While there may have been a method originally when I was putting up the pictures, there isn't anymore.
I add to my vision board when I see something I need to add. My vision boards don't have an expiration date. No vision board should actually have an expiration date. You can't determine when something is going to happen. Everything happens when it happens and for a reason. I don't believe in coincidences. I believe things happen for a reason and exactly as they should. It's not always good stuff that happens. But I also believe that when the bad stuff happens, it's the universe's way of saying "I told you so and now I made it happen. You didn't listen before. Now maybe you'll listen better."
Ever since my life got turned upside down several months, I've had this belief. I've always believed in the no coincidences, but it's the bad stuff belief that changed. The universe will give you messages and signs, but so often we overlook those messages and signs until the universe finally forces it upon us in the way of bad stuff. But my heart is still beating, I am still breathing, I am standing here today and I am happy that I have this amazing life, that is sometimes messed up and nothing goes right, but it is still amazing and I appreciate every moment I have to make this the best life I can.
I read books and blogs about changing your way of thinking, changing your perspective and eventually changing your life. And I know in both my head and my heart that nothing happens overnight, but there are so many things that I really wish would happen overnight. And I know vision boards work. They don't work instantly, there is very little that is instantaneous in this life. You just have to have faith, trust and believe that everything will work out the way that it is supposed to. I have that faith, belief and trust, but every once in a while, I lose it, because like all of you, I am human. And I can only take so much bad stuff happening at a time. So when all this happens, I need a new perspective, so I change things around. That is my ultimate reason for doing new vision boards - I need a new perspective. I need new magic in my life.
Trust.Believe.HaveFaith. Life is amazing, no matter how messed up it is, no matter what goes right or wrong. It is amazing and to be appreciated. When something bad happens, life still goes on.

Venus Self Renewal, Day 2
Day
2 of 40 Days of Venus Self Renewal
The shedding. Write down 10 or more
things you would like to shed during this journey. Keep the focus on
you. For example, rather than listing external things, see how you can
bring it back to the goings-on in your inner world. For example if a
job, situation or another is triggering something within you, what
emotion is coming up for you? What are you feeling here? Owning the
emotion enables you to ride it to the shore. For now, allow yourself to
make the list sans self judgment, and without trying to change any of
it. Simply create the space for it to be heard. Observe what wants to
rise to the surface for transformation. Consider old modes of being, out
grown patterns, belittling self-talk, actions than shun your true self,
life-diminishing choices and commitments, worn out behavior, limiting
beliefs and fears you might be (or have been) holding.
Use markers, pencils or other materials to circle or highlight words that jump out for you.

This Holiday Season
It's the holiday season everywhere around the world right now. Tell me one thing you want to really remember this holiday season 1 month, 3 months, 1 year down the road from now.
Do you want to remember the most expensive gift someone got you? How much you spent on gifts this year? Or do you want to remember the feeling of unconditional love and appreciation from those in your immediate family? Your children? Your parents?
Remember the holiday season is not about the material things that someone gets for us. It's about spending that extra quality time with your family. We never know how long each person has left on this planet, so spend that quality time with your loved ones and let them know how much you love and appreciate them. Don't go all out on those material items that your kids want this year. Let them know that there is more to the holiday season than the material items. Start a new tradition this year. Give to kids who may not have a Christmas present under the tree unless it is donated. There are so many people that go without, not just at this time of year, but all year round. Show someone how compassionate you can be and buy a present to be donated to a special child in need. Donate time at a food bank or a dinner serving people who may not have a meal. Donate money to a person who may be homeless to have a hot meal. Do something good for someone else.
Doing something good for someone else also helps you. This is also something you will remember 1 year down the road and may want to continue to do. I know I want to donate toys to kids in need this year and start a tradition of my own of doing this. You can also send holiday cards to our soldiers overseas to let them know they are appreciated.
Donating time and money are little things. Sharing from your heart is the biggest things you can ever share with anyone, whether it's a stranger or a loved one. It simply shows that you CARE and are a compassionate human being. Don't be a GRINCH this holiday season, share the love and compassion I know you have in your heart!
Let me know what your ONE special thing you are doing this holiday season for someone, whether it be a stranger or a loved one. I want to hear what you are doing that you will remember months and even years down the road. Follow me on Twitter and Pinterest

Trust.Believe.HaveFaith.
This is my new motto. I'm living by this motto from now on. I trust, believe and have faith. Everything is working the exact way that it should be working out. My dreams and wishes are coming true each and every day. I'm maintaining a high vibration and I love being up here on a high vibration. I am much happier and healthier each and every day of my life.
I'm a very firm believer in the vision board. I have created mine and it is up on my wall so that I can see it on a daily basis. Just looking at my vision board each day helps me to reinforce my belief that everything is happening in my life just as it should. I am right where I need to be.
I am also a very firm believer in daily affirmations. I say them to myself each day, all day long. I write them in my journal. I share some of them here for my wonderful followers. I share them on my Facebook page everyone in a while too. As long as the affirmations are completely positive and you really do believe them, they work. Trust.Believe.HaveFaith. It works! Trust me!
And the other thing I am a very strong believer in, is positivity. The more your thoughts are positive, the better things will be in your life. Let go of any negativity in your life, whether this be people, places, events, etc., whether you just release this, find a new job, move to a new home or whatever it is you need to do, it will come to you what you need to do.
Each of us needs to get to a place where you absolutely love your life every single day. Once you get there, more and more things will happen for you. Then, you are at the point where you have to trust, believe and have faith. The Universe wants the best for you and so do I.
So tell me, do you love your life and where you are right now? If not, what do you need to change? Do you have faith? Do you trust, in both yourself and the Universe? Do you believe, in yourself and the Universe?

The Awakening by Sonny Carroll
I was introduced to this poem by a friend yesterday. This poem really struck a cord with me and I wanted to share it with all of YOU. It may open up some doors or just your eyes to something you have been doing or not doing. This poem is absolutely perfect for everything I have been going through. And I have had my own personal awakening over the past few months. Things are finally starting to fall into place and look good again. The only person I'm looking to change is myself. I don't want to even try to change anyone else in my world. It's not worth the pain and heartache to try to make someone else change, it's much easier to walk away from that person and change yourself. I love my life and it just keeps getting better and better every day.
The Awakening by Sonny Carroll(reposted from http://www.sapphyr.net/largegems/theawakening.htm)
There comes a time in your life when you finally get it ... When in the midst of all your fears and insanity you stop dead in your tracks and somewhere the voice inside your head cries out "ENOUGH! Enough fighting and crying or struggling to hold on." And, like a child quieting down after a blind tantrum, your sobs begin to subside, you shudder once or twice, you blink back your tears and through a mantle of wet lashes you begin to look at the world from a new perspective.
..........This is your awakening.
You realize that it is time to stop hoping and waiting for something or someone to change, or for happiness safety and security to come galloping over the next horizon. You come to terms with the fact that there aren't always fairytale endings (or beginnings for that matter) and that any guarantee of "happily ever after" must begin with you. Then a sense of serenity is born of acceptance.
So you begin making your way through the "reality of today" rather than holding out for the "promise of tomorrow." You realize that much of who you are and the way you navigate through life is, in great part, a result of all the social conditioning you've received over the course of a lifetime. And you begin to sift through all the nonsense you were taught about :
- how you should look and how much you should weigh,Slowly you begin to open up to new worlds and different points of view. And you begin re-assessing and re-defining who you are and what you really believe in. And you begin to discard the doctrines you have outgrown, or should never have practiced to begin with.
- what you should wear and where you should shop,
- where you should live or what type of car you should drive,
- who you should sleep with and how you should behave,
- who you should marry and why you should stay,
- the importance of bearing children or what you owe your family,
You accept the fact that you are not perfect ,and that not everyone will love appreciate or approve of who or what you are... and that's OK... they are entitled to their own views and opinions. And, you come to terms with the fact that you will never be a size 5 or a "perfect 10".... Or a perfect human being for that matter... and you stop trying to compete with the image inside your head or agonizing over how you compare. And, you take a long look at yourself in the mirror and you make a promise to give yourself the same unconditional love and support you give so freely to others. Then a sense of confidence is born of self-approval.
And, you stop maneuvering through life merely as a "consumer" hungry for your next fix, a new dress, another pair of shoes or looks of approval and admiration from family, friends or even strangers who pass by. Then you discover that it is truly in "giving" that we receive, and that the joy and abundance you seek grows out of the giving. And you recognize the importance of "creating" and "contributing" rather than "obtaining" and "accumulating."
And you give thanks for the simple things you've been blessed with, things that millions of people upon the earth can only dream about - a full refrigerator, clean running water, a soft warm bed, the freedom of choice and the opportunity to pursue your own dreams.
And you begin to love and to care for yourself. You stop engaging in self-destructive behaviors, including participating in dysfunctional relationships. You begin eating a balanced diet, drinking more water and exercising. And because you've learned that fatigue drains the spirit and creates doubt and fear, you give yourself permission to rest. And just as food is fuel for the body, laughter is fuel for the spirit and so you make it a point to create time for play.
Then you learn about love and relationships - how to love, how much to give in love, when to stop giving, and when to walk away. And you allow only the hands of a lover who truly loves and respects you to glorify you with his touch. You learn that people don't always say what they mean or mean what they say, intentionally or unintentionally, and that not everyone will always come through... and interestingly enough, it's not always about you. So, you stop lashing out and pointing fingers or looking to place blame for the things that were done to you or weren't done for you. And you learn to keep your Ego in check and to acknowledge and redirect the destructive emotions it spawns - anger, jealousy and resentment.
You learn how to say "I was wrong" and to forgive people for their own human frailties. You learn to build bridges instead of walls and about the healing power of love as it is expressed through a kind word, a warm smile or a friendly gesture. And, at the same time, you eliminate any relationships that are hurtful or fail to uplift and edify you. You stop working so hard at smoothing things over and setting your needs aside. You learn that feelings of entitlement are perfectly OK and that it is your right to want or expect certain things. And you learn the importance of communicating your needs with confidence and grace. You learn that the only cross to bear is the one you choose to carry and that eventually martyrs are burned at the stake. Then you learn to distinguish between guilt, and responsibility and the importance of setting boundaries and learning to Say NO. You learn that you don't know all the answers, it's not your job to save the world and that sometimes you just need to Let Go.
Moreover, you learn to look at people as they really are and not as you would want them to be, and you are careful not to project your neediness or insecurities onto a relationship. You learn that you will not be more beautiful, more intelligent, more lovable or important because of the man on your arm or the child that bears your name. You learn that just as people grow and change, so it is with love and relationships, and that that not everyone can always love you the way you would want them to. So you stop appraising your worth by the measure of love you are given. And suddenly you realize that it's wrong to demand that someone live their life or sacrifice their dreams just to serve your needs, ease your insecurities, or meet "your" standards and expectations. You learn that the only love worth giving and receiving is the love that is given freely without conditions or limitations. And you learn what it means to love. So you stop trying to control people, situations and outcomes. You learn that "alone" does not mean "lonely" and you begin to discover the joy of spending time "with yourself" and "on yourself." Then you discover the greatest and most fulfilling love you will ever know - Self Love. And so it comes to pass that, through understanding, your heart heals; and now all new things are possible.
Moving along, you begin to avoid Toxic people and conversations. And you stop wasting time and energy rehashing your situation with family and friends. You learn that talk doesn't change things and that unrequited wishes can only serve to keep you trapped in the past. So you stop lamenting over what could or should have been and you make a decision to leave the past behind. Then you begin to invest your time and energy to affect positive change. You take a personal inventory of all your strengths and weaknesses and the areas you need to improve in order to move ahead, you set your goals and map out a plan of action to see things through.
You learn that life isn't always fair and you don't always get what you think you deserve, and you stop personalizing every loss or disappointment. You learn to accept that sometimes bad things happen to good people and that these things are not an act of God... but merely a random act of fate.
And you stop looking for guarantees, because you've learned that the only thing you can really count on is the unexpected and that whatever happens, you'll learn to deal with it. And you learn that the only thing you must truly fear is the great robber baron of all time - FEAR itself. So you learn to step right into and through your fears, because to give into fear is to give away the right to live life on your terms. You learn that much of life truly is a self-fulfilling prophesy and you learn to go after what you want and not to squander your life living under a cloud of indecision or feelings of impending doom.
Then, YOU LEARN ABOUT MONEY... the personal power and independence it brings and the options it creates. And you recognize the necessity to create your own personal wealth. Slowly, you begin to take responsibility for yourself by yourself and you make yourself a promise to never betray yourself and to never ever settle for less than your heart's desire. And a sense of power is born of self-reliance. And you live with honor and integrity because you know that these principles are not the outdated ideals of a by-gone era but the mortar that holds together the foundation upon which you must build your life. And you make it a point to keep smiling, to keep trusting and to stay open to every wonderful opportunity and exciting possibility. Then you hang a wind chime outside your window to remind yourself what beauty there is in Simplicity.
Finally, with courage in your heart and with God by your side you take a stand, you TAKE a deep breath and you begin to design the life you want to live as best as you can.
A word about the Power of Prayer: In some of my darkest, most painful and frightening hours, I have prayed, not for the answers to my prayers or for material things, but for my "God" to help me find the strength, confidence and courage to persevere; to face each day and to do what I must do.
Remember this:- You are an expression of the almighty. The spirit of God resides within you and moves through you. Open your heart, speak to that spirit and it will heal and empower you.
My "God" has never failed me.

Start Daily Affirmations
Daily affirmations are a great way for you to get into the mindset of manifesting and being positive. Sometimes I also use affirmations when I'm in a difficult situation and I need something to calm me. I'll say the affirmation for a few minutes straight to myself.
You can say them throughout the day. But it is good to get into a habit of saying them first thing in the morning with your Thank You!'s and last thing at night to help put you in a good spot for both starting the day and before falling asleep.
Here are some affirmations to get your started. You can use these, add to them, or create your own. They should always be positive.
I am happy and healthy.
Abundance flows to be quickly and easily.
I am unique.
I love myself unconditionally.
I am worthy.
I am good enough to achieve my dreams and goals.
Life is so good.
I have all that I need to make it through today perfectly.
I also like to write out my affirmations first thing in the morning. I've added it to my daily ritual. By writing them, it really helps to keep them easy and simple. Plus you can actually see them in print. If you have a photographic memory like I do, you can also see the page you have written these affirmations down on later in the day to remember them when you hit a rough spot in the day.
Hit me up for more ideas on affirmations if you need them, or just feel free to share yours. I love getting comments and I will respond! Follow me on Twitter and Pinterest.

Creating a Vision Board
One of the first steps of putting the Law of Attraction to work for you is to create a vision board. This board will be EVERYTHING you have for yourself as a dream for the future. Make sure you DREAM BIG!!
You know all of those dreams that you have had since you were a child for yourself - that dream house, dream car, special vacations, wedding, dream job, material items you want but can't afford right now, money in the bank, debt free - put it ALL on your board. Find pictures online, in magazines, in circulars and cut them out. This board be on a cork board, poster board, or even just the wall. I put mine on the wall, because for the time being, I don't have either of the others and taping my pictures to the wall was an easy way to display them in a place where I will see them EVERYDAY! You want to make sure your board is in a place that you will see it every day - home, work, your choice - but make sure you will see it everyday.
There is a reason why kids have always had those "crazy" dreams. They haven't learned how society makes us act like none of that exists anymore and to stop believing, until we start doing research and find that it all still does exist. Our dreams are real and we can have them. We just have to believe again and get rid of all of the negative thinking.
There are so many books out there to help us with this. The first book suggestion I will make is: The Secret. I'm sure you've heard of this book before. It became a very popular book a few years ago. Many of the daytime television shows talked about this book and showed cases where the book had showed success. They also created a movie about this book with success stories as well. I've listened to this movie on Netflix several times, I've even reactivated my Netflix account just to watch this movie three or four times in a month, then cancelled it again.
I've had a vision board on my to do list for about 2 years now and I just never got around to actually doing it. But that is changing TODAY. I've started my pictures and I'm just waiting for my printer ink to get here on Saturday to print out these pictures that I've found. I had a poster board, but never had the pictures to put it together. Well, I'm not waiting any longer to make this vision board and start manifesting my future. As soon as my ink gets here on Saturday, I'm going to start printing pictures and cutting them out. Then, I'm taping them to my wall in the form of a vision board to get this started and in my daily thoughts everyday in printed form and not just in my head. Having the thoughts in your head is still a good thing, but seeing it in print, whether it's written or pictures, really helps you keep the positive and SEE what you really want. It also puts it out to the universe what you really want as well.
Step Two: VISUALIZE. It's time to sit down with your dream pictures. With each picture, create a movie in your mind about that dream coming true. Picture yourself 5 years in the future with each dream manifested. Show yourself a personal movie of how it came true! These visions should make you happy! If they don't then there is something in your dreams that you may need to change.
Step Three: CREATE! Just dreaming and visualizing is not enough to manifest your vision board dreams. You must create the actual board. As you put each picture on your vision board, play that movie of your visualization again.
Step Four: BELIEVE! Now you just have to believe. Even everything that is unrealistic will happen. You have put this out for the universe to see and it is very clear what you want since you have put the exact pictures of your dreams up for the universe and YOU to see each day. Take 10-15 minutes each morning (or evening, whatever works best for you) and visualize your life movie happening again. Make sure you keep all thoughts positive about your vision board. If you start to think that I can't have that. I'm not good enough for that. Then sure enough, the universe will put off that dream for you. Never think those thoughts about anything on your vision board. (You actually should stop thinking those thoughts completely if you really want the Law of Attraction to work for you.)
Make sure you DREAM BIG! Your life is exactly that which you make it. It can be really simple and amazing, or you can make it more difficult than it should be.
I want to hear about your vision boards. If you have questions, let me know. I'll help you out! I will respond if you comment. Follow me on Pinterest

You know all those vacations you wanted to go on and never could because of other circumstances. That dream house you've always wanted, but never thought you could afford? You want a family someday, put a picture of a happy family on your vision board, with the type of family you want and how many children you want. You know all those dreams that you have for yourself, even if you haven't told them to anyone. Don't focus on making these dream realistic! The Law of Attraction works around realistic!Step Two: VISUALIZE.
