Daily Affirmation Challenge, Day 7

Continue using the same affirmation you started with on day 1.  Remember, it can be your own or the one I'm using.

Affirmation: I love myself unconditionally. I love my body and all of its flaws. I am unique and perfect just the way I am. Love comes to me naturally and I know just how to share my love with those who I come into contact with.

Step 1: Stand or sit in front of the mirror. Chant OM 21 times to help clear your mind and raise your personal vibration. Then say the affirmation out loud 21 times to yourself in the mirror.

Step 2: In your notebook or journal, write Day 6 as the heading, then write your affirmation 21 times.

Step 3: Spend a few minutes in quiet meditation. This can be anywhere from 2-30 minutes, just spend some quiet time alone and enjoy the peace and serenity that washes over you at this time.

Go about the rest of your day. If any negative thoughts come up about your affirmation, stop, acknowledge those feelings and then just let them go. If you need to, repeat your affirmation to yourself a few times to help release the negativity you may have.

Here are the other days in the challenge. You can start with Day 1 any day and just follow along with the rest of the days in order.

Venus Self Renewal, Day 8

Day 8 of 40 Days of Venus Self Renewal: Gratitude. Write down 10 or more things that you are truly thankful for in this past year. However 2013 unfolded for you, take a moment to bring to mind what you are grateful for in your life. Keep a self-empowered focus. If you list a material object, allow yourself to look deeper and write what that object means to your life. When you pause and reflect include what really makes you feel wholeheartedly good, what uplifts your spirit, what has taught you deep lessons, what has given you blessings, what touches your heart and what expands your capacity to love and be your authentic self. Keep writing until you feel done. Breathe that in, and out.

If you feel called, do a small ritual to symbolise giving thanks to the universe/ divine/ source energy/ oneness/ your higher self. You are welcome to add your ideas in the comments below.

Venus Self Renewal, Day 7

Day 7 of 40 Days of Venus Self Renewal: What have you learned about yourself and your life in 2013? Write out 10 or more things. Keeping a soul nourishing perspective write out your list as if you were writing it about a beloved friend. It’s unlikely you would say ‘Oh, you learned you completely lack courage!’. Right? Word it in a way that encourages your highest movement forward. Such as, ‘You learned that you move through life in the best way you know how in that moment’.

Use markers, pencils or other materials to circle or highlight words that jump out for you.

Venus Self Renewal, Day 6

Day 6 of 40 Days of Venus Self Renewal: Acknowledge the goings-on in your inner world today. Take a few deep breaths in and out. Bring your awareness to the emotion(s) wanting your attention, the thoughts in your focus, the beliefs you are holding and how you feel in your skin in this now moment. Allow yourself to observe these goings-on, sans judgement. Then visually express this out (or express out what needs to come to the surface) using whatever medium calls you, such as pastels, pencils, watercolours, collage, etc. When you are done ask your piece ‘What is your name?’, and write that down.

Gratitude Jar

Create your own miracle jar this year. Get an empty jar with a lid. It can be any kind of jar (just make sure you clean it first!). If you want to, decorate the jar anyway you want to. It's the start of a new year, so it's the absolute perfect time to start a new jar!

Each day, write down on a piece of paper a miracle that happened to you that day. You can use colored paper to make it look cool :) when you look at the jar. Or just use whatever paper you have laying around the house.

Write down on pieces of paper:
Something special that happened that day
Something that made you LOL
Any miracle you have noticed - BIG or SMALL
Things you are grateful for that happened that day

Any day you are feeling down or blue, dump out everything in the jar and start reading each slip of paper! They will help you feel better and bring you right back up to where you are supposed to be.

Venus Self Renewal, Day 5

Day 5 of 40 Days of Venus Self Renewal: I hear you. Bring to mind one aspect of your self that you are saying ’no’ to right now. It may be the same aspect that showed up for yesterday’s prompt or perhaps it is a new one. See this aspect in your mind’s eye, as if it was an energy unto its own. Allow it to show up in whatever form it needs to. Imagine entering a chat with this aspect. Ask them the following questions then write down each response; (i) what emotion (or fear) are you holding for me? (ii) what message do you have for me right now? (iii) what are you needing from me to feel safe right now? Then take a deep breathe in, and out. Bring your chat to a close by writing down “I hear you”. Breathe that in and allow a space for acceptance for the next 24 hours.

Use markers, pencils or other materials to circle or highlight words that jump out for you.

Day 4 of 40 Days of Venus Self Renewal: I see you. Bring to mind one aspect of your self that you are resisting right now - it likely revealed itself on your list from Day 2. An aspect that might urk you, annoy you or frustrate you. Perhaps it feels too much to even look at this aspect. Maybe this aspect is pulling at your sleeve or poking your arm (again and again until it has your loving attention!). Write down (i) how you truly see this aspect (ii) what you really think about this aspect and (iii) the way you feel about this inner aspect - without self judgement or trying to change this aspect right now. Like yesterday, keep a self-empowered focus. Consider your core desires (what you truly want to embody and experience), what honors your authentic worth, what feels wholeheartedly good for your being, what is life-enhancing for you, what fuels your self-love and self-care tanks, what uplifts you and what moves you into positively powerful action.

Letting Go of the Ego

As humans, we all have an ego. Sometimes that ego gets in the way when we are trying to achieve dreams and goals. There are some people who only live through their ego. And you can usually tell who these people are because everything is always all about them. This didn't go right, that didn't go right, this person doesn't belong and the list goes on and on. Noticing those who live through their ego is easy if you are not always living through you ego.

It is something that we, as humans, cannot get around. It is always going to be there, but you have a choice to let it go and not live through your ego on a regular basis. You can live through your soul and heart most of the time and life will be so much more happier positive.

As stated above by Albert Einstein, the more knowledge you obtain, the lesser your ego will be present. This knowledge pertains to life experience. There are so many people out there who really think that by being older, they are so much smarter. But there are so many of these people who really only care about themselves and no one else. They live through their ego. Making others feel bad, makes them feel good. Putting others down, makes them feel good.

You can let go of your ego, by staying positive and not believing in the negative that is out there. Really believe that the Universe is helping you and everyone else. Don't put others down, help raise them up. By helping to raise someone else up, you are raising both yours and the other person's vibration to be happier. The happier you are from achieving immaterial things, the less ego that you have present.

Daily Affirmation Challenge, Day 1

As mentioned yesterday, I want to start an affirmation challenge with all of you. This challenge will last for 21 days and then I may start a new one after the first 21 days are up.

Here is what you need: a pen or pencil, a notebook or journal and a mirror.

You will need one affirmation that you will use each day for the next 21 days. You can use your own or use the one I'm going to use.

Step 2: In your notebook or journal, write Day 1 as the heading, then write your affirmation 21 times.

Venus Self Renewal, Day 2

Day 2 of 40 Days of Venus Self Renewal

The shedding. Write down 10 or more things you would like to shed during this journey. Keep the focus on you. For example, rather than listing external things, see how you can bring it back to the goings-on in your inner world. For example if a job, situation or another is triggering something within you, what emotion is coming up for you? What are you feeling here? Owning the emotion enables you to ride it to the shore. For now, allow yourself to make the list sans self judgment, and without trying to change any of it. Simply create the space for it to be heard. Observe what wants to rise to the surface for transformation. Consider old modes of being, out grown patterns, belittling self-talk, actions than shun your true self, life-diminishing choices and commitments, worn out behavior, limiting beliefs and fears you might be (or have been) holding.

Use markers, pencils or other materials to circle or highlight words that jump out for you.

Daily Affirmations

I personally love daily affirmations. This is a very habit to get into starting each and every day.

Saying or writing your affirmations first thing in the morning is usually the best thing you can do. It helps you set the mood for the day by doing your daily affirmations.

An affirmation is usually something that you really want to believe or have, but aren't quite at the point of achieving that goal or item.

Here are some examples of affirmations:
I am worthy.
I am good enough.
I am achieving all of my dreams and goals.
I am successful.
I am gainfully employed as _____ at a salary of $______.
Money comes to me quickly and easily.
Life is so good!
I am unique.
I love myself unconditionally.
I love my body and all its flaws.
I release all that does not serve my highest good.

Affirmations can be used to just about anything you want to achieve in your life. They must be written in the present tense as if you already have exactly what it is you are looking to achieve. One of the best ways to practice your daily affirmations is to stand in front of a mirror, and say out loud your affirmation 21 times. By seeing yourself saying it, you can see the look on your own face when you really start to believe the affirmation. You can see the joy in your eyes about having what it is your affirmation is affirming.

I personally love to write out my affirmations. I write them every single morning. Sometimes I come up with more that I need to add to my list and I just add them when I really feel that I need them to be added.

If there is one specific thing you are looking to really manifest into your life, write yourself an affirmation about that item. Then for 21 days, write that affirmation 21 times each day. Fully believe in the outcome of it. After you are done writing that affirmation, really let it go for the rest of the day. Do your best not to think about it, but if you must think about, only think positive thoughts about it. Do NOT think about not having that item. If you continue to think about the lack of that item, you will continue to manifest the lack of that item. Think about how you feel with that item. Think about how it can improve your life. Feel all kinds of positive feelings about that item, if you really must think about that item.

Join me in my manifestation/affirmation challenge. I'll post daily about this challenge and what you need to do. There will be another post introducing the challenge coming up as well later today. Let me know what areas you would really like to manifest something special into your life in the next few hours and I'll work that into my challenge posts.

Need help with some more affirmations? Leave a comment. We can come up with some together. I'd love to help you manifest your desires in your life.

40 Days of Venus Self Renewal, Day 1

40 Days of Venus Self Renewal, Day 1:

Begin where you are. Open your sketchbook or journal and leave the first page blank. On the next page write down what self renewal means to you. If renewal was like the shedding of the old (like a snake sheds it’s skin, a rather apt image given we are moving toward the end of the Year of the Water Snake), at what stage do you feel you are at right now within yourself and your life? On the next page, trace around a CD or DVD to create a sacred circle. Within this circle express out what stage you feel you are at right now. Using whatever materials call you right now.

The Power of Numbers

I'm sure you've all heard about the making wish when you see 11:11 on any clock. You've all seen double and triple numbers, sometimes multiple times a day. I always see 5:55 at least once a day, but usually twice each day. Multiples of 3 are very important. As well as 17 and 68 seconds. Not to mention today is 12/22. But what do these are really mean?

The power of 17 and 68 seconds are two of the most important ones I've mentioned above. If you can think about one positive thought for 17 seconds and keep that thought going the whole 17 seconds, you are starting momentum with the universe about that thought. But there is a catch with this, the thought can be absolutely anything - negative or positive - and you will get that momentum going. So you need to learn not to let the negative thoughts trip you up. Work on thinking only positive thoughts and building that momentum around those positive thoughts. Don't think about what you don't have. Don't think about negative feelings. Build on the positive feelings and emotions and what you do have and what the Universe is bringing to you. Life is so much better in the positive.

68 seconds is simply 17 x 4. So you are increasing that momentum of a positive though and keeping it going. Once you reach that 68 second mark, the Universe is really starting to work in your favor or not your favor, depending on the thought you are thinking. Again, positive thinking really is the key here. Building momentum will help you keep the positive thinking going and it will work with you for manifesting.

Multiples of 3 are very important. If you read posts on Facebook and blogs about the number 21 (a multiple of 3), you may know what I'm talking about. I've read countless times about chanting Om 21 and 108 times. This will help you clear your mind of all thoughts by chanting the word Om. I also like to write affirmations 21 times. It normally takes about 17 seconds to write out one affirmation. Repeat that affirmation 21 times and just think about the momentum you are creating. While you are writing you can't think about much else but what you are writing because you will write something wrong. So that is one positive affirmation that you have written 21 times and worked on creating that momentum.

There is also double, triple and quadruple numbers sequences that you can see on a regular basis. Each of these number sequences do have a meaning of their own, but they simply mean that something in your life is increasing and you need to remain positive.

As humans, we make things so much more difficult than they really are because our ego gets in the way. Appreciate everything you have and think positive. Learn to override your ego and live in the moment, in the present time and just enjoy your life. Everything you need is coming to you just as you need it, if you let go of the negative thoughts and the thoughts of lack.

Material Things Don't Matter

In our lives, the material things we have don't matter anywhere near as much as the immaterial things. The immaterial things include feelings, such as love, appreciation, gratitude, joy and happiness.

Keep feeling the positive feelings and more of the material things you want in your life will come to you.

Feel gratitude for everything you DO have in your life and even for that which is still coming to you, that you want, but don't yet have. Feel gratitude for those special people in your life that help you learn new things, feel happiness and joy about your life, and just overall make you feel good. When you feel gratitude for everything you have and even don't have, the Universe will provide more of what you do want.

Feel love for everyone in your life, whether you think they deserve it or not. This is a topic best learned by having a pet. There are so many days when we don't feel worthy of love, but our pet will share that love with you anyway. They will love you through the best of times and the worst of times, no matter how you treat them. And that is exactly how we should treat the people in our lives, love them anyway. It doesn't matter how that person treats you, love them anyway. Be the bigger person and continue to show that person love. Let their treatment go and just see the love that is there in the relationship.Spread love far and wide and more LOVE will come to you.

Feel happiness everyday of your life. Happiness is what makes the world go round. You can feel more love if you are happier. Make it a point to be happy every single day, no matter what happens, what goes right or what goes wrong.

Life is so good for us and happiness, love, joy, and gratitude help us enjoy the life we have and continue to improve our lives too.

Forgiveness is YOUR Best Gift to Yourself!

This is so true. There are very few people out there who will apologize for hurting you, assuming something and being wrong, or just apologizing because they should and it's the right thing to do. The best thing you can do for yourself, to forgive them anyway. If you forgive them, you can move on. Forgiving them doesn't mean they were right or even that you accept what they did. It means that you are a bigger person and want to move on with your life. You aren't letting anyone else hold you back any longer. Forgive everyone and everything and you will feel much lighter and happier in your life.
Love, Clarissa

The Choice is YOURS

You have a choice each and every morning, so what are you going to do today? I always choose to chase my dreams. If you don't get up and chase them, they can't come true!

By chasing your dreams, you make every single day you spend here on this earth the next greatest day of your life. Keep living your life to the fullest and chasing those dreams. Never let your dreams die or for someone to tell you that you can't achieve something. All it takes is putting your mind to something and you will achieve it. It may not be easy, but it will be worth it. It will be worth all the blood, sweat, tears and time it takes to accomplish those dreams! Just NEVER, EVER give up!

Live your life to the fullest potential and just enjoy everything you have. Material things do not make our lives special. They may help us live a better life, but the material things don't make the world go round. It's the simple, immaterial things, like love, happiness, and joy that make the world go round. Live the life you want to live. Don't live by anyone else's standards, but your own. They aren't living your life, they don't have to deal with the choices you make on a regular basis. Make your choices for you and live the best life you can live. Show the world your happiness, joy and love and just enjoy your life!

This Christmas

This is absolutely so true! As you get older, the immaterial things really matter most. This is a season of giving, giving from the heart. It doesn't matter how much money you have, it matters how much love you can give from your heart. Show others that you care. Donate time, donate food to those who can't buy their own food this holiday season, donate a gift for a child who would not have one otherwise, but most of all, donate your love. When you see someone who may need some extra love this Christmas, let them know you care, sometimes all it takes is a hug to let someone know. Do what you can to share your love that you carry deep in your heart. By making someone else's holiday season brighter, it brightens your own!
Love, Clarissa

Be HAPPY!

This is plain and simple and just amazing! Being happy, especially for no reason at all, can really change your life. Choose to be happy and notice how your life changes!

Learn to love life, no matter what it throws at you. Just because you think it's something you didn't want, in reality, you somehow attracted each and everything in your life by the thoughts you think on a regular basis. Think happy thoughts, be happy and you'll start attracting those things in your life that you think you really want. The only catch here is if you continue to think the negative thoughts or things you don't want, you will continue to attract that which you don't want because you are thinking about it!

Trust. Believe. Have Faith!

It really is that simple. Trust that things are working out exactly as they should. Believe that those behind the scenes are working with you. And have faith that they are working with you. Think positive. Don't think about that which you don't want or the lack of something you have. And make sure to thank the Universe every single day for that which is coming to you and that which you have!

On TOP of the World!

You know that feeling that you get when things are finally going your way and you are in a super good mood? Wait, you don't know that?!?! Well, you need to really start working on your Law of Attraction and how to manifest things into your life. :) Follow my blog a little bit more closely and do some research on your own and things will really come together.

I've been working on manifesting something in my life over the past several weeks and today it finally came to fruition! I feel on top of the world today and now it's time to really keep this momentum going and manifest so many more things on my vision board! And with today's manifestation, I am finally FREE! I am free from everyone and everything in my past. I let it go and I focus on the present and what the future has in store for me. Being a positive person really does pay off and it makes life so much better and happier!

What do you need help with in manifesting something or even letting something go? Let me know and we can work on it together. I would love to help you out! Each and everyone of us needs to learn to trust, believe and have faith! It really does work! I am living proof because I lost all faith a while ago, but I learned that I needed it in order to really continue on.

Do you want to be one of those people that just follows the crowd and when things don't go right for you, you just give up on your dreams? Please don't be one of those people. Start today, make a change and be who YOU want to be! It can be hard or it can be as easy as you want it to be. Start doing some research on the Law of Attraction, create your vision board (I swear it really does work!), read some books by Esther and Jerry Hicks and other books on the Law of Attraction (check out my page for what I'm reading for ideas) and read other books that are available as well. Expand your knowledge base and GROW!

Trust, believe and have faith!

Be the person you have always wanted to be, achieve your dreams and goals. Start today! Life doesn't wait for you, you have to take the bull by the horns and lead him in the direction you want to go. I promise you that no matter hard it is now, it will be totally worth it in the end!

Who Do YOU Want Others to See YOU As?

When you wake up each morning, who do you see yourself as? Who do you want others to see YOU as? What do you want to be known as when you are no longer on the Earth plane?

If you create a positive start to each day when you first wake up each morning, that will make your day go that much better. Have you ever noticed, the days you wake up grumpy, achy, "on the wrong side of the bed", nothing ever seems to go right that day? If you haven't, try it and let me know how your day goes. Pick one or the other, a positive wake up or a grumpy wake up.

It's actually really that simple. Create a morning ritual. No matter how you actually feel when you wake up, start your day with thanking God, the universe, whatever your choice is, for giving you another day and that you are grateful that your dreams are coming true. Just doing this each day will help you change the mood you already had. You are now feeling grateful for what you have in your life and what you are receiving. You can then journal your personal affirmations that you want want to affirm for the day. They can be anything from how you feel about yourself to the day is going to perfect to you are grateful for your job. Positive affirmations and being grateful will really set the tone for a great day. You can also listen to some great music that will just make you dance while you start preparing for your day.

The way you go about your day is also how others see you. You may be seeing a stranger on the street, a clerk in the store you are buying your groceries in, or even a coworker. But if you have a negative attitude towards your day, this is how these people will perceive you as a person. Change your negative to a positive and see how that changes how people react to you.

Let me know how this works for you! I love hearing these stories! Follow me on Twitter and Pinterest

This Holiday Season

It's the holiday season everywhere around the world right now. Tell me one thing you want to really remember this holiday season 1 month, 3 months, 1 year down the road from now.

Do you want to remember the most expensive gift someone got you? How much you spent on gifts this year? Or do you want to remember the feeling of unconditional love and appreciation from those in your immediate family? Your children? Your parents?

Remember the holiday season is not about the material things that someone gets for us. It's about spending that extra quality time with your family. We never know how long each person has left on this planet, so spend that quality time with your loved ones and let them know how much you love and appreciate them. Don't go all out on those material items that your kids want this year. Let them know that there is more to the holiday season than the material items. Start a new tradition this year. Give to kids who may not have a Christmas present under the tree unless it is donated. There are so many people that go without, not just at this time of year, but all year round. Show someone how compassionate you can be and buy a present to be donated to a special child in need. Donate time at a food bank or a dinner serving people who may not have a meal. Donate money to a person who may be homeless to have a hot meal. Do something good for someone else.

Doing something good for someone else also helps you. This is also something you will remember 1 year down the road and may want to continue to do. I know I want to donate toys to kids in need this year and start a tradition of my own of doing this. You can also send holiday cards to our soldiers overseas to let them know they are appreciated.

The biggest thing you can share this holiday season is YOUR heart!

Donating time and money are little things. Sharing from your heart is the biggest things you can ever share with anyone, whether it's a stranger or a loved one. It simply shows that you CARE and are a compassionate human being. Don't be a GRINCH this holiday season, share the love and compassion I know you have in your heart!

Let me know what your ONE special thing you are doing this holiday season for someone, whether it be a stranger or a loved one. I want to hear what you are doing that you will remember months and even years down the road. Follow me on Twitter and Pinterest

Trust.Believe.HaveFaith.

This is my new motto. I'm living by this motto from now on. I trust, believe and have faith. Everything is working the exact way that it should be working out. My dreams and wishes are coming true each and every day. I'm maintaining a high vibration and I love being up here on a high vibration. I am much happier and healthier each and every day of my life.

I'm a very firm believer in the vision board. I have created mine and it is up on my wall so that I can see it on a daily basis. Just looking at my vision board each day helps me to reinforce my belief that everything is happening in my life just as it should. I am right where I need to be.

I am also a very firm believer in daily affirmations. I say them to myself each day, all day long. I write them in my journal. I share some of them here for my wonderful followers. I share them on my Facebook page everyone in a while too. As long as the affirmations are completely positive and you really do believe them, they work. Trust.Believe.HaveFaith. It works! Trust me!

And the other thing I am a very strong believer in, is positivity. The more your thoughts are positive, the better things will be in your life. Let go of any negativity in your life, whether this be people, places, events, etc., whether you just release this, find a new job, move to a new home or whatever it is you need to do, it will come to you what you need to do.

Each of us needs to get to a place where you absolutely love your life every single day. Once you get there, more and more things will happen for you. Then, you are at the point where you have to trust, believe and have faith. The Universe wants the best for you and so do I.

So tell me, do you love your life and where you are right now? If not, what do you need to change? Do you have faith? Do you trust, in both yourself and the Universe? Do you believe, in yourself and the Universe?

What is Reiki?

The Mind-Body Healing Benefits of Reiki

According to the Japanese healing technique known as Reiki (pronounced "ray-kee"), when your “Ki” -- or life force energy -- is low or disrupted, you’re more likely to feel stressed or sick. High levels of Ki lead to health and happiness, and it is upon this principle that Reiki exerts its healing effects.

Composed of two Japanese words -- “Rei,” which means “God’s Wisdom or the Higher Power” and “Ki,” which means “life force energy” -- Reiki can be translated as “spiritually guided life force energy.” This gentle, energy healing technique works by helping to clear the negative energies that are blocking the flow of your vital life force energy and is becoming increasingly practiced in U.S. hospitals, hospices and other health care settings.

How Does Reiki Work?

A Reiki treatment generally involves working with a Reiki practitioner who will access your life force energy and allow it to flow freely. This is done by placing their hands palms down on or just above your body in up to 15 different positions. Each position is held for two to five minutes, or until the practitioner feels heat and tingling sensations dissipate, which signals that the flow of energy has stopped.

Each Reiki session lasts anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes, and patients generally receive multiple sessions. It is also possible to receive Reiki long-distance, in which Reiki is performed on clients who are not physically present.

A Gentle Form of Mind-Body Medicine

According to the International Center for Reiki Training: “A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing … Reiki will improve the results of all medical treatment, acting to reduce negative side effects, shorten healing time, reduce or eliminate pain, reduce stress, and help create optimism.”

The energy that is channeled from the hands of a Reiki practitioner is said to “break up and wash away” negative thoughts and feelings that are stopping the flow of your life force energy, leading to improved mental and physical health.

As the International Center for Reiki Training reports: “Reiki heals by flowing through the affected parts of the energy field and charging them with positive energy. It raises the vibratory level of the energy field in and around the physical body where the negative thoughts and feelings are attached. This causes the negative energy to break apart and fall away. In so doing, Reiki clears, straightens and heals the energy pathways, thus allowing the life force to flow in a healthy and natural way.”

Because Ki is influenced by your thoughts and feelings, Dr. Mikao Usui, who rediscovered the ancient healing art of Reiki in Japan in the early 1900s, also developed five Reiki principles that complement the healing technique. To improve your mind and body, Dr. Usui recommended repeating the following, out loud and in your heart, each day, morning and night:
1. Just for today, I will let go of anger. (Letting go of anger brings peace into the mind.)
2. Just for today, I will let go of worry. (Letting go of worry brings healing into the body.)
3. Just for today, I will give thanks for my many blessings. (Being thankful brings joy into the spirit.)
4. Just for today, I will do my work honestly. (Working honestly brings abundance into the soul.)
5. Just for today, I will be kind to my neighbor and every living thing. (Being kind brings love into the will.)

What Health Problems is Reiki Used For?

Reiki is used for relaxation and stress relief as well as to relieve chronic pain, side effects from medications and medical treatments, and to improve overall health and well-being. The technique is increasingly being offered in U.S. medical settings, and it’s estimated that over 800 U.S. hospitals now offer Reiki as part of their services.

Are You Looking for a Reiki Practitioner?

Reiki practitioners must receive their training from an experienced Reiki teacher or Master, and can hold degrees in level 1 (which involves about two days of training), level 2 or Master Reiki, which can take years to achieve. When choosing a practitioner, be sure to find out about their background, experience and training, as expertise can vary greatly and there are currently no set licensing standards.

Although research into Reiki is still ongoing, it appears to be a very safe treatment with virtually no side effects reported. Using it in addition to your current therapies for a variety of physical and mental health complaints may therefore be a complementary treatment worth looking into.

Do you know the most natural therapy, free of medicine that can assist you baby to be calmer, or relieved from pain? Reiki is a hands-on, non-manipulative, energy renewal technique, to help babies to sleep well, to relieve pain from teething or to speed up recovery during a cold. Reiki can help by providing additional energy to be used for healing. The sooner an ailment is addressed the better. If you come as soon as your dear bub starts sneezing it will prevent them from coughing. It is so heartbreaking for us when they cough, don’t you agree? And it will deprive them from sleep and you too!

The baby’s body will attract the energy that is transferred through the hands of the practitioner, Catherine. The baby can sit on his mum’s lap or be hold in her Mum’s arms, or be held by Catherine if the baby agrees. The energy will flow and go wherever it is needed. For babies, who have so small bodies, one of Catherine’s hand can cover the whole lungs surface!

Reiki is very gentle for babies and adults alike.

Why do we need a Reiki Treatment?

We all, from time to time, experience sudden changes in our lives; disturbances, long term depression, anger, unhealthy thought patterns and also fear, just to name a few. These are all negative emotions which cause our bodies to feel stress and tension which after a long period of time can deeply affect us and can cause harm by weakening our immune system resulting to health problems if not dealt with promptly. Reiki energy allows our body to relax so that it can accelerate its own ability to heal itself by supporting its healing process.

Reiki Benefits

When the flow of the “Life Force Energy” is disrupted, weakened or blocked, emotional or health problems tend to occur. Imbalances can be caused from many situations occurring in our lives, such as emotional or physical trauma, injury, negative thoughts and feelings, including fear, worry, doubt, anger, anxiety, negative self-talk, toxicity, nutritional depletion, destructive lifestyle and relationships, neglect of self and lack of love for oneself or others, from emotions that are not expressed in a healthy way.

Reiki therapy is now recognized for its natural ability to heal peoples’ lives in many miraculous and powerful ways and at all levels such as spiritual, mental, physical and emotional.
