"Manitude" Diagram

I know you've all seen these pictures:
Well, I was given an idea to create one of these for myself. But there was a twist to what I was going to create. I took a blank piece of paper, in the middle I wrote: "I AM Grateful For". Then each day for 30 days I wrote something I was looking to manifest into my life. I wrote each manifestation as a gratitude statement like I had already had what I was trying to manifest. As I wrote each new statement, I felt the gratitude and happiness from having each item. I would write each item, then reread the previous days, and then meditate on the page itself.

This was an absolutely amazing experience! Because of this amazing experience, is why I decided to share it all with you. I learned about myself in this experiment, plus I also built the habit of being grateful for something different each day. Being grateful is something we all have to learn to really experience in this life because you will be rewarded for your feelings.

Life is an amazing thing and we should all cherish it and just love it the way that it is. If we can make changes for the better, go for it. Love your life and everything the universe gives to you and it will get better every single day. I know I love my life every single day, no matter what life decides to throw at me that day. I know that I can handle anything that is coming towards me with ease because the universe is on my side and I'm grateful for all the lessons I've given to learn so that I can become a better person.

Crystal a Day

Today's crystal is some form of a yellow crystal. I'm really not sure what it is.

It has some sparkles in it like goldstone usually does, but it's not a goldstone, at least from the information I can find. It also has some special marks of its own. I love seeing the marks inside a crystal showing it's own personality. While meditating with this crystal, I got a special energy in my solar plexus and heart chakras. I love feeling energy like this in my chakras. It is a great healing feeling. I know I have tons of healing to do and it is something I work on every day.

100 Days of Self Love

The 100 days posts have become pretty popular lately. We have seen lives change in just 100 days. I've been trying to think of ideas for doing a 100 days project. I wanted to do 100 days of gratitude, but couldn't think of ideas beyond just practicing and writing daily gratitude posts. Then I found this one, 100 days of self love. Please join me, starting tomorrow, January 20, 2014! Here are the daily requirements:

I am doing a "100 days of self love". It is easy and powerful.

So hear it comes:
100 days every morning 10 minutes of meditating on "thank you" and doing one nice things for yourself.

Every 100 days almost all our cells are renewed.

The first 30 days are needed by our organism to reprogram our cells.

From day 31. to day 60 we are emotionally newly programmed (we could feel tired and powerless and our ego might say a word against this project) but we will have to keep up and our cells will regenerate.

From day 61 to day 90 we will feel powerful and fit and in the last 10 days we will reap what we sow!

This project is so amazing and life changing! In order to do anything in this life, we have to love ourselves. You can't love another, unless you love yourself.  Practice love, practice gratitude and see your life change! Life is an amazing thing that we are given. Stop taking it for granted and live it freely! Love yourself and you can start to love another.

Living in Gratitude

I have been working on this post for quite a while now. Gratitude is something I really believe in, and I know it can change lives. It has changed mine dramatically. My life is so amazing because I practice gratitude daily, whether it be for only 10 minutes a day or longer than that. I write out a gratitude list daily of both material and immaterial things I am so grateful to have in my life.

________________________________________________________________________

There are so many things in this world that each of us can show gratitude for each and every day. Showing gratitude for what you have, even for what you don't have, raises your vibration to help you bring in more of what you do want in your life. The higher your vibration, the better you feel. The better you feel, the more gratitude you can show to the universe.

I've been practicing an attitude of gratitude for a quite a while now. And I try to share it with others every chance I get because it really does change your life. I would always get started with something, then it would fall to the wayside because the habit wasn't strong enough. Well, things in my life really started changing when I started practicing gratitude daily.

First, it started with my attitude. I was much happier and just in an overall better place. The first thing I do each morning when I wake up, is say "Thank YOU!" I thank the universe for giving me a new day. I thank the universe for keeping me healthy. I thank the universe for all that I have. Then later in the day, sometime in the morning usually, I will write in my journal, a list of at least 10 things I am grateful for. I don't base this off of the list I wrote the previous day. But the majority of the things on my list each day are the same or similar. And that is because those are things I am eternally grateful for and I need to keep thanking the universe for each of them every day. My list doesn't stop at 10. If I have more stuff to add, then I keep adding them, until I have nothing left to add for that day. Then, I just go about my day and am in a very good mood. There is very little that can change my good mood anymore.

Second, my life started changing for the better. Good things started to happen to me. It really seemed like I was a major streak of bad luck, and yet somehow, in some way, I had attracted all that bad stuff to me. I don't know how I did, but today, I don't want to know how I really attracted all that bad stuff to me. That stuff is in the past and today is a new day. I am not the same person I was last month, let alone 4 months ago when this streak of bad luck happened to me. But once I started practicing the gratitude, and my attitude changed, good things started happening to me. I received gifts I didn't ask for. I am completely healthy. I am manifesting an amazing future.

Lastly, my life is so amazing! I love my life right now. There are things I'm still working on, but we are all human. We all have something in ourselves that needs to be worked on. No one is perfect. But I live each day for the present and exactly what I have in this moment right now, right here. I can't change the past, nor do I really want to. It made me who I am today. I've learned so many lessons from the past and I am continuing to learn lessons on a regular basis. I've always said that I love learning new things, well what better way to really improve my life, than by learning new lessons that I need to apply to my life.

There really is so much that you can do to practice gratitude daily. But the first thing you really have to do is, have faith, trust and believe that the universe really does hear you. You may not see immediate results from this, or you may, it's all in divine timing! Then you also have to really feel the gratitude that you are showing to the universe. The universe knows if you are not for real with your feelings. Let this change your life for the best. And the last thing you have to do, is let go of the negativity. Stop thinking about the "what if's", the "but's", the lack of something that you don't have. Think about what you do have. Say thank you for what you do have and what is coming to you.

Here are some ideas that you can do to practice gratitude daily:
  • Gratitude jar - use a jar, a box, something that is easy to store papers in that you can see daily. On little pieces of paper (I like to use colored paper), each day write down something that happened that you are grateful for that day and put it in the jar. Put the date on the paper as well. You don't have to limit to this to one item per day either. Anything that you feel extra gratitude towards, write it down and put it in the jar.
  • Gratitude journal - in a new journal or a notebook, write the date, then write a list of things you are grateful for in your life, both material and immaterial things. This list should include at least 10 things each day. Don't refer back to the previous day, just use your memory to show what you are grateful for. Do this EVERY DAY! This will really get you into the spirit of being grateful. I love doing this!
  • Say "Thank You!" to the universe several times a day. You can also specific things you are thankful for when you say it. This practice is especially good first thing when you wake up each day before you even get out of bed.

Living a life of gratitude is much better than going around blaming yourself or others about all the bad stuff that has happened in your life.  Blaming won't change your life. It will just continue to make the bad stuff happen to you, because you are blind to the fact that good things are happening to you at the moment. When you show gratitude, you can brush off the bad stuff, because so much more good stuff is happening to you and you are noticing all the good stuff.

Believe me, gratitude can and will change your life. Practice gratitude daily for the next 30 days, and if nothing in your life changes, then come back to me and let me know what you did every day. But when your life starts changing, I still want to hear from you!  Share your stories with me about how this is changing your life.

The Butterfly

As we grow and become the person we are supposed to be, there are more and more lessons that we need to learn. These lessons help us learn new things, they teach us what we really need to know. And sometimes the lessons even show up more than once because we didn't learn the lesson the first time around.

Like this man wanted to help the butterfly, there are some lessons that we need to learn on our own. While we may want to help someone else on their journey or have someone help us, that is not always feasible. There are things that others cannot do for us or help us with. It is something we have to learn on our own. We need to learn to trust ourselves and our capabilities. This life is given to us to enjoy and learn the lessons given to us to help us be a better person and have a better life.

Learn to make the most of this life you are given and enjoy it the best you can.

Venus Self Renewal, Day 9, 10, 11

Day 9, 10 and 11 of 40 Days of Venus Self Renewal: The magical doorway. Yes, this one is a three part process. Thank for you for your patience with the reactivation of this journey as I paused to sit with the last day that was 2013 and allowed space to be with the first few days of 2014.

Part 1: Imagine you are about to step through a divine portal, one that can transport you from where you are to where you truly desire to be. Before you step through it, write a love note (or thank you note) to 2013. Focus on the lessons, blessings, gifts, insights, aha moments, wisdoms and intuitive gems received during your past 365 days. This may or may not include some of the things on your gratitude list from day 8.

Part 2: It’s time to pick a word for the new cycle ahead. Use it as a focus, guide or intention. Life-enhancing feeling-based words can be the most powerful here. Write down your word. Or if several come to you, write them all down then circle the one that jumps out at you the most. Then write down (i) what this word means to you, (ii) why this word speaks to you right now and (iii) how are some of the ways you can invite this word into your life in the coming days ahead

Part 3: Your magical doorway. Imagine on one side 2013, a year that on many levels held up a reflection of who we are not, gifting us the opportunity to shed old and outgrown definitions of self. On the other side of the doorway is 2014, a year that will hold up a mirror (if we allow it) of all that we really are. Pure energy, light and love. Visually express out what your magical doorway looks like using the materials that call you.

I am taking these posts from a Facebook page I follow: www.facebook.com/jelenamrkich but I would really love for you to follow along with me on this journey and share your journey here. This journey is absolutely perfect for each of us for this new year and being a new YOU.

Daily Affirmation Challenge, Day 7

Continue using the same affirmation you started with on day 1.  Remember, it can be your own or the one I'm using.

Affirmation: I love myself unconditionally. I love my body and all of its flaws. I am unique and perfect just the way I am. Love comes to me naturally and I know just how to share my love with those who I come into contact with.

Step 1: Stand or sit in front of the mirror. Chant OM 21 times to help clear your mind and raise your personal vibration. Then say the affirmation out loud 21 times to yourself in the mirror.

Step 2: In your notebook or journal, write Day 6 as the heading, then write your affirmation 21 times.

Step 3: Spend a few minutes in quiet meditation. This can be anywhere from 2-30 minutes, just spend some quiet time alone and enjoy the peace and serenity that washes over you at this time.

Go about the rest of your day. If any negative thoughts come up about your affirmation, stop, acknowledge those feelings and then just let them go. If you need to, repeat your affirmation to yourself a few times to help release the negativity you may have.

Here are the other days in the challenge. You can start with Day 1 any day and just follow along with the rest of the days in order.

Venus Self Renewal, Day 8

Day 8 of 40 Days of Venus Self Renewal: Gratitude. Write down 10 or more things that you are truly thankful for in this past year. However 2013 unfolded for you, take a moment to bring to mind what you are grateful for in your life. Keep a self-empowered focus. If you list a material object, allow yourself to look deeper and write what that object means to your life. When you pause and reflect include what really makes you feel wholeheartedly good, what uplifts your spirit, what has taught you deep lessons, what has given you blessings, what touches your heart and what expands your capacity to love and be your authentic self. Keep writing until you feel done. Breathe that in, and out.

If you feel called, do a small ritual to symbolise giving thanks to the universe/ divine/ source energy/ oneness/ your higher self. You are welcome to add your ideas in the comments below.

Venus Self Renewal, Day 6

Day 6 of 40 Days of Venus Self Renewal: Acknowledge the goings-on in your inner world today. Take a few deep breaths in and out. Bring your awareness to the emotion(s) wanting your attention, the thoughts in your focus, the beliefs you are holding and how you feel in your skin in this now moment. Allow yourself to observe these goings-on, sans judgement. Then visually express this out (or express out what needs to come to the surface) using whatever medium calls you, such as pastels, pencils, watercolours, collage, etc. When you are done ask your piece ‘What is your name?’, and write that down.

Gratitude Jar

Create your own miracle jar this year. Get an empty jar with a lid. It can be any kind of jar (just make sure you clean it first!). If you want to, decorate the jar anyway you want to. It's the start of a new year, so it's the absolute perfect time to start a new jar!

Each day, write down on a piece of paper a miracle that happened to you that day. You can use colored paper to make it look cool :) when you look at the jar. Or just use whatever paper you have laying around the house.

Write down on pieces of paper:
Something special that happened that day
Something that made you LOL
Any miracle you have noticed - BIG or SMALL
Things you are grateful for that happened that day

Any day you are feeling down or blue, dump out everything in the jar and start reading each slip of paper! They will help you feel better and bring you right back up to where you are supposed to be.

Venus Self Renewal, Day 4

Day 4 of 40 Days of Venus Self Renewal: I see you. Bring to mind one aspect of your self that you are resisting right now - it likely revealed itself on your list from Day 2. An aspect that might urk you, annoy you or frustrate you. Perhaps it feels too much to even look at this aspect. Maybe this aspect is pulling at your sleeve or poking your arm (again and again until it has your loving attention!). Write down (i) how you truly see this aspect (ii) what you really think about this aspect and (iii) the way you feel about this inner aspect - without self judgement or trying to change this aspect right now. Then take a deep breathe in, and out. Write down “I see you”. And breathe that in.

Use markers, pencils or other materials to circle or highlight words that jump out for you.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you enjoy your day and find some way to celebrate the LOVE of the season today and everyday of your lives. Love is the real reason why we are here today. Spread more love and happiness in the lives of those you come in contact with today. Love really is simple and by sharing it, it creates more happiness and joy in those around you!

Venus Self Renewal, Day 3

Day 3 of 40 Days of Venus Self Renewal: An uncovering. Write down 10 or more things you wish to cultivate or strengthen within yourself and your life during this journey. Like yesterday, keep a self-empowered focus. Consider your core desires (what you truly want to embody and experience), what honors your authentic worth, what feels wholeheartedly good for your being, what is life-enhancing for you, what fuels your self-love and self-care tanks, what uplifts you and what moves you into positively powerful action.

Use markers, pencils or other materials to circle or highlight words that jump out for you.

Venus Self Renewal, Day 2

Day 2 of 40 Days of Venus Self Renewal

The shedding. Write down 10 or more things you would like to shed during this journey. Keep the focus on you. For example, rather than listing external things, see how you can bring it back to the goings-on in your inner world. For example if a job, situation or another is triggering something within you, what emotion is coming up for you? What are you feeling here? Owning the emotion enables you to ride it to the shore. For now, allow yourself to make the list sans self judgment, and without trying to change any of it. Simply create the space for it to be heard. Observe what wants to rise to the surface for transformation. Consider old modes of being, out grown patterns, belittling self-talk, actions than shun your true self, life-diminishing choices and commitments, worn out behavior, limiting beliefs and fears you might be (or have been) holding.

Use markers, pencils or other materials to circle or highlight words that jump out for you.

Material Things Don't Matter

In our lives, the material things we have don't matter anywhere near as much as the immaterial things. The immaterial things include feelings, such as love, appreciation, gratitude, joy and happiness.

Keep feeling the positive feelings and more of the material things you want in your life will come to you.

Feel gratitude for everything you DO have in your life and even for that which is still coming to you, that you want, but don't yet have. Feel gratitude for those special people in your life that help you learn new things, feel happiness and joy about your life, and just overall make you feel good. When you feel gratitude for everything you have and even don't have, the Universe will provide more of what you do want.

Feel love for everyone in your life, whether you think they deserve it or not. This is a topic best learned by having a pet. There are so many days when we don't feel worthy of love, but our pet will share that love with you anyway. They will love you through the best of times and the worst of times, no matter how you treat them. And that is exactly how we should treat the people in our lives, love them anyway. It doesn't matter how that person treats you, love them anyway. Be the bigger person and continue to show that person love. Let their treatment go and just see the love that is there in the relationship.Spread love far and wide and more LOVE will come to you.

Feel happiness everyday of your life. Happiness is what makes the world go round. You can feel more love if you are happier. Make it a point to be happy every single day, no matter what happens, what goes right or what goes wrong.

Life is so good for us and happiness, love, joy, and gratitude help us enjoy the life we have and continue to improve our lives too.

Follow me on Pinterest and Twitter and share your stories with me. I love hearing about your stories of success and learning new things!

Forgiveness is YOUR Best Gift to Yourself!

This is so true. There are very few people out there who will apologize for hurting you, assuming something and being wrong, or just apologizing because they should and it's the right thing to do. The best thing you can do for yourself, to forgive them anyway. If you forgive them, you can move on. Forgiving them doesn't mean they were right or even that you accept what they did. It means that you are a bigger person and want to move on with your life. You aren't letting anyone else hold you back any longer. Forgive everyone and everything and you will feel much lighter and happier in your life.
Love, Clarissa
